Vandoren Optimum Bb Clarinet Ligature
The Optimum Ligature has long been one of Vandoren’s most popular ligatures. It uses a distinct double-track screw design, which allows for even tightening on both sides of the reed. This allows your reed to vibrate freely and evenly against the mouthpiece.
The Optimum Bb Clarinet ligatures are offered in three platings each offering slight variations in tone color and response. Silver Plated, Pink Gold, and Black. All Optimum ligatures come with three interchangeable pressure plates, that allow for the convenient adjustment of tonal color, response, and flexibility.
Pressure Plates
- Plate 1: Provides a rich, colorful sonority which produces great resonance. Pressure along the fiber of the reed facilitates an unbelievable blowing ease. Incredible ease of articulation
