The ""bowl"" cup generates an enormous sound and is particularly helpful in freeing up the upper and lower registers. Both cups are suited for all types and genres of playing.

Their fiber mutes are made with wood and a specially formulated resonant fiber material, and their metal mutes are constructed from selected grades of aluminum, brass, and copper.
