S.E. Shires TBRS Large Bore Tenor Trombone

Designed with trombone legend Ralph Sauer the S.E. Shires TBRS Large Bore Tenor combines a number of features to create an incredibly efficient and complex playing experience.  

Featuring an 8 ½” lightweight red brass bell with detachable bell flare, a .525”/547” dual-bore handslide (with leadpipes for both small and large-shank mouthpieces) and an open-wrap F-attachment with the Shires Dual-Bore rotor the TBRS produces an easy, rich sound with the detachable bell flare providing stability and complexity in it’s timbre and response, along with providing the unique portability that the cut-bell design offers.
