These kits use patented 2‑way humidity control to maintain stable relative humidity (RH) — protecting wood from cracking, shrinking, or swelling caused by environmental changes. The Small Starter Kit includes a single pouch holder with one Boveda refill packet and step‑by‑step instructions, and is suited for smaller wood instruments like violins, violas, and clarinets. The Large Starter Kit includes both a double pouch holder and a single pouch holder with three Boveda refill packets and instructions, offering extra humidity support for larger instruments like cellos and double basses. Boveda packs are individually overwrapped and ready to use; simply place them in the included holders in your instrument case to help maintain a consistent 40–60% RH — the industry standard for wooden instruments.
