Pre-owned Adams E1 Sterling Silver Bell Custom Euphonium
Created to provide a class-leading combination of beautiful design and supreme performance, the Adams E1 euphonium is handcrafted with high-quality materials and sophisticated techniques to provide the maximum performing experience. As one of the most sought after custom Adams this E1 has with a 0.60 gauge 12” sterling silver bell, gold brass body four fully compensating valves, .591”/.630” bore and clear lacquer finish. The E1 has been developed for musicians who, in addition to playing in a section, also like to take on solo challenges and gives a lot of room to color their tone.
This particular E1 has been regularly played and exceptionally well taken care of; with the exception of a small dent on the bottom bow and the 3rd valve tuning slide the euphonium is ding and dent free, although there is evidence of red rot on the leadpipe. The lacquer is 95+% and the valves have excellent action. This euphonium has a wonderfully balanced character; it has depth and warmth without getting dark and diffuse and the sterling silver allows the player to really project without the timbre becoming bright and the response becoming less controlled. This model has been one of our favorites in our shop and this particular instrument is a good example of why! Comes with Marcus Bonna fiberglass Cordura covered case.
